Two families in Bukonzo County East have a reason to smile after they received a donation of 60 iron sheets from the area member of parliament.
Harold Tonny Muhindo, the area legislator, gave to each family 30 iron sheets as a boost to support them erect permanent houses.
Jane Kamalha, a 44-year-old mother of seven from Kanyampara Village in Katsungiro Parish of Munkunyu Sub County is one of the beneficiaries.
Kamalha, who expressed gratitude to the MP, said the donation is timely for she has for a long time stayed in wattle house roofed with banana leaves.

Another beneficiary, a one Matia Kamabu of Karambi cell in Kisinga town council, says the donation will make his dream, to stay in a decent house come true.
Kamabu and his wife Juliet Kabugho who are parents to nine children had for all their lives stayed in a very ramshackled structure. They talked to our reporter about how they feel after receiving the iron sheets.
Hon. Harold Tonny Muhindo said he gave to those families the iron sheets to motivate them to work harder and erect relatively decent structures.
The law maker revealed that his decision was informed by numerous calls from his mobilisers to support those families that were said to be extremely vulnerable.
