We are stronger together, happiness as Bobi Wine meets top Uganda musicians.

Kyadondo East Former MP Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu commonly known as Bobi Wine has today held talks with Uganda top musicians at his home in Magere.

This meeting comes weeks after the so called “Big Musicians” meant President Museveni half Brother Gen Saleh in Gulu and reportedly asked for money to rescue the failing careers.

Bobi Wine among other people attacked fellow Musicians for asking for money from Gen Saleh and many were labeled beggers.

Bobi Wine posted, “See how wonderful it is for brothers and sisters to dwell together in unity…Psalms 133:1”.

It was an amazing breakfast chat with our arts family, where we shared individual observations on the current challenges of the arts in Uganda. Bobi Wine shared his thought.

Together, we lay down our thoughts on what we believe the future of the creatives should look like. He added.

According to Bobi Wine , the alternative minister of Arts and Culture Hon. Kiyaga was present to take note of our deliberations and we believe that he will channel these brilliant ideas across the entertainment fraternity for a stronger and more unifying voice.

He reminded them that Like Marcus Garvey said “One civilisation is not complete without its art, the highest form of expression of human intelligence”.

Bobi Wine appreciated those who attended the meeting , he noted “Thank you bredren for taking time to come by and for sharing your ideas with everybody who attended. We are stronger together”!.

Among top Musicians who attended included, Apass, Fik Fameica, Fefe Bussi, Irene Namatovu, Tuff B, Young Mulo , Kazibwe Kaapo , Nubian Li, Kabako, Nina Roze among others.
