HAPPENING NOW: President Museveni address the nation on Covid-19.

PRESIDENT MUSEVENI ADDRESSES UGANDANS ON COVID-19 STATE IN THE COUNTRY (PHOTO: NTV UGANDA YOUTUBE)

The Presidential address is underway on all local TVs and Radios countrywide, as President Museveni gives an update on the state of Covid-19 in the country as positivity rate of the virus falls to 8% from 22% when the lockdown was imposed 42 days ago.

On June 18, 2021, Museveni imposed a 42-day lockdown barring inter-district movements, public transport, public gatherings, and institutions (including places of worship and schools) for a period of six weeks.
