The Deputy Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Maj. General Paul Lokech is dead, the Uganda Police Force has announced.
The death of Lokech was confirmed by IGP Martin Okoth Ochola through the Uganda Police Twitter account.
“The IGP with deep sorrow regrets to announce the sudden demise of the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Major General Paul Lokech,” a statement on Uganda Police’s Twitter account reads in part.
According to close family sources, Lokech passed on from his home on Saturday morning.
