A 30 year-old man in Kisinga sub-county has survived being lynched by an angry mob. The incident happened yesterday afternoon at Kajwenge trading centre.

A 30 year-old man in Kisinga sub-county has survived being lynched by an angry mob. The incident happened yesterday afternoon at Kajwenge trading centre.

It is alleged that Adidas Baluku on July 23rd, dag a grave in his Uncle’s garden and buried some of his clothes and yet unknown items. After burying the items, Baluku also put a cross on the grave going into hiding.

Joseph Kiiza, one of his relatives told our reporter who had reached the scene that together with the residents; they mounted a search for Baluku so as to establish his motive of digging a grave.

Yesterday, they came across him and a section of angry residents wanted to lynch him but family members and local leaders rescued him from the mob.

Solomon Bagonza Ngelese, the area Local Council I Chairperson attributed the act to the influence of drugs, asking the parents to always intervene over the morals of their children.

By press time, Baluku had been taken to Kisinga Police Station in Kisinga Town Council.
