Kasese District Health department receives three new double cabins

Kasese District through the Ministry of Health is now boasting of three new brand double cabins to help the district respond to the fight against Covid-19.

The vehicles registration numbers UG 7044 M, UG 7003 M and UG 7045 M have been given to the District Local Government, Bwera Government General Hospital and Kasese Municipal Council respectively.

They were handed to the Taskforce chaired by the Kasese Resident District Commissioner, Lt. Joe Walusimbi by the Chief Administrative Officer, Amis Masereka Asuman.

Masereka subsequently hailed the government for its efforts towards the fight against Covid-19.

While receiving the donation, the RDC pledged that the vehicles would be used to sensitize the masses against Covid-19 and transporting the medical workers in the fields where cases will have been reported.

The Kasese District Chairperson, Eliphaz Muhindi Bukombi, who hailed government for the donation, revealed that the district was lacking means of transport to respond to the Covid-19 cases.

Very great.let these vehicles champion the whole district than being stationed in kasese
