North Kigezi Diocese thrown into fresh tears, senior priest passes on

RUKUNGIRI– North Kigezi Diocese fraternity was on Wednesday morning September 6th 2021 thrown into mourning following the untimely death of Rev Patrick Bagorogo.

Rev Bagorogo one of the senior priest who served the diocese in different capacities passed on this morning at Mulago National Referral Hospital according to reports.

One of the Diocesan staff who preferred anonymity confided to this reporter that Rev Bagorogo lost the battle to ulcers.

“SAD News. Iam announcing the death of Rev Patrick Bagorogo of Rusheshe Buhunga. MHSRP” any source privy to the deceased posted on social media.

This reporter has been able to establish that the deceased hails from Rusheshe, in Buhunga Archdeaconry, North Kigezi Diocese in Rukungiri District.

By the time of his death, Rev Bagorogo was serving as the general manager of the North Kigezi Diocese Sacco along Rubabo road in Rukungiri Municipality.

He’s death comes at a time when the diocese is still nursing the wounds of losing the Bishop Benon Magezi who succumbed to COVID-19 in June.
