Kasese Woman MP secures 40 University bursaries

KASESE: The Kasese District Woman Member of Parliament, Hon. Florence Kabugho has secured 40 university bursaries to benefit the students intending to join universities.

The 40 bursaries have been secured at Uganda Pentecostal University in Fort-portal and African Renewal University in Buloba Kampala. Each of the universities will cater for 20 students.

According to a statement from the Woman MP’s office, at least 25 people have already picked interest and filled the application forms.

Jesca Ithungu, the Secretary in the legislator’s Kasese based office says those who will join African Renewal University will be given a full scholarship, meaning that they will be required to provide only scholastic materials and accommodation for themselves.

Each constituency has been given three vacancies in the fields of Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Public Health and Education in both primary and Secondary among others.

Our children have no sets most schools in busongora north so we request government to see how some of the schools can get
