Kakwenza wants transport money to attend court session

Kakwenza Rukirabashaija the Author of The Greedy Barbarian who was arrested by suspected CMI operatives this morning and his whereabouts are still unknown.

Novelist Kakwenza Rukirabashaija has asked court to send his passport and transport money so he can be able to come to court.

Through his twitter handle, the novelist said that he doesn’t know why the magistrate is supergluing on his case yet it’s obese for him.

“I don’t know why the magistrate is supergluing on my case yet it’s obese for him. He should send my passport and transport money,” he tweeted.

The PEN Prize award winner jokingly shared his address indicating that he can be found at, 400 Mauerkircherstraße, Bayern Munich, Germany at Lake Kakwenza.

This however follows an arrest warrant issued against Novelist Kakwenza Rukirabashaija for absconding court sessions.

Buganda Road Chief Magistrate Dr. Douglas Siginza on Wednesday issued an arrest warrant against Kakwenza and also summoned his four sureties to appear in court on 11th, April, 2022 to explain his whereabouts or pay ten million shillings in case he jumps bail.

It should be remembered that Rukirabashaija, the 2021 PEN Prize winner for international writer of courage was arrested on Tuesday 28th December, 2021 after he published comments critical of President Yoweri Museveni’s son, Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
