Death has robbed us of the fine writing talent of another Kasese based journalist.

Ronald Kule commonly known as Ronnie Diamonds attached to UBC -Ngeya Radio died today morning at 3:30am at Kilembe Mines Hospital where he has been on admission for a month.

He is among the people who were involved in a road accident at Nyamirangara along the Muhokya – Kasese High way on the night of April 24.

Kule becomes the third journalist in Kasese to die in a spate of one month after Denis Mumbere, an employee of Messiah Radio with whom they were involved in an accident and Charles Muhindo of Light FM who was involved in an accident in Hima and was buried on Wednesday last week.

Other Journalists who have died since the month of May 2021 include Enid Basiime an employee at Revival Radio in Mbarara and the budding NBS television south western Uganda bureau chief, Sheila Nakabuye.

Journalists work as watchdogs as they provide information, education and communication to different media platforms.

Biblical memory verse; If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. That is according to the book of Romans Chapter 14:8.

May the souls of the deceased colleagues rest in eternal peace.
