News reaching our editorial desk from Mpondwe Lhubiriha Town Council in Kasese District indicated that a popular boy’s hostel has caught fire this evening.
According to one, Rev. Buleme one of the teaching staff at the secondary school, the fire started at 08:00pm and police arrived minutes later to put out the fires.
The fire started from two rooms and a lot of property has been destroyed including student’s mattresses. Rev. Bulemu told this online. He says by the time the fire broke out, students were already in classes for prep.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
