Bernadete Businge sworn in as the National Deputy Secretary Women League for the Democratic Party – DP

Bernadette Businge, the former parliamentary candidate for Busongora County South in Kasese district has been sworn in as the National Deputy Secretary Women League for the Democratic Party – DP

This follows her successful election during the party’s National Executive Council meeting that was held last year in Gulu.

Businge deputizes Hon. Annet Nakyanja Maweje.

The ceremony that was held via zoom was presided over by Counsel Luyimbazi E Nalukoola.

Speaking to the press today afternoon shortly after taking oath, Businge described her position the Democratic Party as a big achievement to the people of Kasese and pledged to use her office to lobby for the people in the district.
