About Us

We are Rwenzori Daily Media Initiative Limited, a dedicated team of multimedia and investigative geo-journalists driven by the mission to bring to light critical news articles concerning the Environment, Climate, Biodiversity, Water, Wildlife, and Reproductive Health across Uganda. Our approach to storytelling allows us to delve deep into these pressing issues and shed light on their significance.

Through our work, we aim to create awareness, spark conversations, and inspire positive change within our society. Our passion for journalism fuels our commitment to uncovering the truth and presenting it in a compelling and
impactful manner.

As we embark on this journey, we are eager to collaborate with like-minded individuals and organizations to amplify the reach of these crucial stories and effect meaningful transformations in the communities we serve.

What We Do

At Rwenzori Daily Media Initiative Limited, we are more than just a group of dedicated multimedia and investigative geo-journalists; we are also proud to be an incubation center for aspiring journalists across Uganda.

Our mission goes beyond reporting critical news articles on Environment, Climate, Water, Wildlife, Biodiversity and Reproductive Health; we are committed to empowering and equipping the next generation of journalists with the necessary tools and skills to tackle these pressing issues.

Through our training and mentorship programs, we aim to cultivate a new breed of journalists who can conduct in-depth and impactful storytelling on matters concerning water, environment, biodiversity, and climate change. We believe that fostering journalistic talent is key to fostering positive change and bringing awareness to the challenges our society faces.

As an incubation center, we provide hands-on experience, guidance, and support to budding journalists, allowing them to refine their storytelling techniques and develop a deeper understanding of the subjects they cover.

We encourage innovative approaches to reporting and storytelling, leveraging the power of media to drive meaningful conversations and mobilize action for a better future.
