A 13 Year old boy commits suicide in Kasese

A 13 year old boy in Kambukamabwe Village in Karambi sub-county of Kasese district has today committed suicide after he was allegedly forced to shave his hair.

The Minor whose names were withheld from the press was a Primary two pupil at one of the Primary Schools in Karambi Sub County and son to Misaki Kule and Kabibi Masika all residents of Kambwekamabwe.

The incident was reported this evening by the Karambi Sub County Chairperson Mr. Paddy Muhindo who said that the deceased used a belt to hang himself in a tree. According to the Chairperson, the bad news came as a surprise to many looking at the decision a young boy made shortly after he was forced to shave hair by his mother.

Mr. Muhindo advised parents to make it a habit to be friend their Children so that the minors are always free to share their grievances with them. By press time, Police from Bwera Division had taken the lifeless body to Bwera Government Hospital Mortuary for a postmortem.
